I don't download much (or anything) as my sets are outdated for years now in a unconnected hdd. Anyway i appreciate all the efforts and like to hang around to keep informed about the new dats. In case i do anything wrong... was brought here by Cassiel so he is the one to ban!

Outdated, disconnected HDD, could there be some hidden gems in there?

About the gems, i doubt it. The sets are not that old (5 years?) and i did not collect much due to my slow connection. They are now in an external HDD but haven't scanned much (however i already saw i miss a ton of mame and tosec )

Nice to have found your site

Commodore is my real passion ... C64 + Amiga.  Ended up chasing the TOSEC stuff to satisfy my need to have everything.  Then discovered the gamebase stuff ... then no-intro ... then ... well ... I realised, there is no 'everything'.  I just love having what I can get my hands on, and re-living some of the golden memories with my daughter. 

Laptop hooked up to the big LED screen - not quite like the days of sitting with your nose touching the 1084s monitor, but Rick Dangerous and Flood (and ... and ... the list goes on) never looked so good!

When I get a bit more courageous, might ask for access to the torrents and help seed what I have.

Thanks for the welcome, niallquinn. Don't worry about it, Collectah. It's okay to be nervous in a forum, but I started playing computer games on an Apple IIe while still playing in the arcades, but I also had school to juggle along, too. You're among friends here, Collectah. Just take your time.

Same passion collectah, started with a VIC 20 in my school days, loved Commodore, strayed into the Atari world a couple of times, but came back the Amiga community was much more welcoming.

The emulator stuff is amazing, the happy days playing countless games can be re-created, i Love it.
