Very odd.
I'm currently using 39.0 with only down'em all and Mega extentions/addons with no problems.

Can you try another browser?

I've just changed ISP and their unconfigurable router has forced me to set my prefered DNS servers via my NIC. This has unblocked a lot of sites. Maybe you have a similar issue? Try opendns or google dns IP's.

The UK has yet again recently been hit with a lot of DMCA, etc. take down notices - some of these to file sharing sites.

I'll certainly re-scan my files, but active monitoring for viri has never failed.

Macca it isnt the antivirus that protests... it is firefox

"Google Safe Browsing maintains a list of files, sites and pages that the company has flagged as malicious. The product has been in use in the company's own Chrome browser for some time and recently implemented in the Firefox web browser as well."

etc etc etc....

The madrigal and speak & spell files you can get from the websites.
Then post a new fix_dat and I'll upload your missing swf and png's.

P.S. This is a thread for posting updated dats, NOT a fix request thread. Please request fixes here > [You are not allowed to view links] Register or Login

Thanks. :)

What can I say, but G0G, G0G, G0G
...Gotta love Ole G0g!

I Didn't really explain the recent updates, and lack there previously of, but Gee Oh Gee dot com, got persons (fresh out of college IT experts, no doubt) to create/convert all games from 'age old' .DEB or .TAR format into a "luverlay" .SH install format.
I know, I know. Linux users are Feckin' stupid - drag 'n drop, maybe a command line code to run, I dunno! Welllllll, G0G had to help 'em out.

So, a few hundred files later, and I finally get on top of the database updates.

New files online, but warning, updates are already amongst us!.

Hence why I gave up collecting these, apart from my purchases...

I envy you guys with plenty of high speed bandwidth..

But seriously, constant updating....WHY?

Apart from their paranoia over copyright, I guess..

Thanks Connie..

Cheers

A lot of their updating is down to stupidity and lack of organisation.
If they had sat down and planned their business model correctly from the start - i.e. do we support mac and linux, how do we deal with multiple languages, how do we update and make downloading easy, etc., then over half of these years worth of updates could have been avoided!

Obvious updates like game fixes will always be a constant constraint to a project like this, remaining accurate.
Lets face it, every game released today is just a beta version - 'we', the public/end users are the beta testers - constantly complaining and making bug reports until hey,ho, a patch is released! :)

If it means I don't have to deal with a shitty, invasive 'vulva' Steam platform, then I'll stick with G0G ;)
