I'm giving up for tonight. Not a single one of the three providers I have tried has posting capability worthy of being called that. One stalls after a few posts and subsequently loses then all. The next stalls to a crawl, period. And the third goes belly up after a dozen gigs posted or so. Since I'm trying to post a 150G set, all of that is unacceptable. (and these are not "small" providers by any measure).

Eweka works great for me, although I don't think they do Bitcoins.

Also try Astraweb, used by many providers of large ISOs.

Then, Giganews, expensive but usually do the job as long as your stuff is not MPAA/RIAA/UFC targeted.

Yeah, none of them to BTC, and their lowest tiers are too expensive for a posting-only account IMHO. Thank you for the suggestions though :-)

I'm afraid free and efficient usenet is way beyond dead. Market is almost a monopoly, now. :-/

But, if that can help, I can upload for you to usenet, that's not a problem for me.

@Norman
I've been with NewsDemon for a while and was getting what I needed until I tried to get some of the recent [GC] dumps by lakitu. At least half a dozen were missing or corrupt!

Just bought a 180GB block from Astraweb, and all are now coming down fine on euro SSL server/port 443 - needless to say I'll be cancelling N.D.
Might be worth trying? You've gotta ask for posting privileges, but they're pretty quick about it.

These three were not free accounts.  I know it's folly to expect decent free accounts ;)

I was trying to upload the entire TR set, and maybe more after. But not if I can't get it to work reliably.

NewsDemon is a reseller of UNS, same as TheCubeNet, which is the one having posting trouble after 80 gigs. They work fine for downloads, but suck badly for uploads, apparently.

Then you might just be fine with astraweb.
They are the outlaws' choice when it comes to upload. ;-)

Heh, they don't really have appealing (read: anonymous) payment options, otherwise I'd get a small block account now :)

Well, will be back later tonight and research some more.
