Amiga non-SPS very unofficial .ipf images
« on: January 09, 2015 - 18:12:08 »
Here's a batch of very unofficial ipf images, not related to SPS in any way.

These images are built using Keir Frasers [You are not allowed to view links] Register or Login from KryoFlux streams dumped from original disks.

I noticed the unofficial Killing Game Show ipfs, which are built the same way, are included in latest unrenamed set.
Oh and btw, I have confirmed Deep Core to work 100% from start to finish.

Hostile Breed and Nobby The Aardvark are indeed the "old" ipfs.
I just keep them in the unofficial folder as they have nothing to do with SPS. ;)

[edit]
SPS has officially added Hostile Breed [SPS 3666].
I assume they are different images than the old ipfs ?

Until I get the database for the CRC values, I won't know.

I've just been checking your version of Powerstyx (1988)(DigiTek)(NTSC)[Unofficial IPF]

How did you verify it was USA (NTSC).

The reason I ask is because the game boots advertising Magic Bytes whuch is a Europe publisher for the game.
I was hoping to see either Axxiom/MicroProse - Worldwide or DigiTek - USA?

I thought I might have discovered a way to tell Europe from USA. Any ideas?

You have a pm Connie.

According to HOL, DigiTek is US publisher.

Exactly.

All games show their manufacturer and publisher info usually on boot or at least in credits or via an info button or the like.
As I say, this is Magic Bytes and therefore Europe.

I'll check ur PM, thx.

I stand corrected Connie, Powerstyx is indeed the PAL version.
