Where are your SHA-1 or MD5 hashes?  You risk collisions.

In fact, this isn't even a TOSEC dat. It looks like No-Intro.  And these IPF files are generally unavailable.

I highly suggest enabling Level 2 scanning. It will take a while to collect the hashes, but it will ensure your collection does not have any inaccuracies.

I have Level 2 scanning enabled, but the fixdats seem to be missing the SHA-1 and MD5 hashes!? Best using cmpro I think.

Finally sorted out the fixdats - Had to reinstall Romvault and rescan everything. So, if anybody could help me finish the Amiga collection it would be much appreciated.

Thanks a lot, that's completed the set. One question (in your opinion), is it best to zip up every file, or, zip up the folder and leave the contents raw?

Thanks again.

If your files are to be updated by dats in the future, they need to continue to match the structure dictated.  TOSEC dats expect the files to be zipped individually. For long term storage without expectation that you'll be accessing files frequently, you can save some space by 7zipping the files rather than zipping them.  Zip does not account for similarities between separate files like 7z/LZMA solid archiving does.  But RomVault does not support 7z, and standardizes on torrentzipping to improve consistency across all computers for joining torrent swarms and similar.

Thanks for the advice (very informative). I tend to stay away from torrenting these days, and rely on the good will of sharers instead.

Good evening folks.

I'm looking for these 3 full sets, specially "Operating Systems - Workbench" which's managed to elude me for several years already.

Can anybody help?

Thanks for your time and sorry for the inconveniences.
