I know proust23 is a public bugmenot account, but show some skin and register an account for yourself before asking such a thing.  This set was never fully complete, but it has been distributed widely.  Pick your favorite search engine and see for yourself.

Also guessing this account will not login again ;)

lovely.

but. the request is poor, the set is poor. looking for "good2600 v3.14" will show a perfect hit on first page. so why google or whatever searchengine you use, for you. it should be far under 10 MB.
just not to be bad, i just proclaim to not to use search anymore for others than myself. Its easy. If you got almost fullsets, your missings are often posted together in one.

Considering 'he' was asking to have links to private trackers sent via PM a couple weeks back, this has developed into a liability concern for other sites as well. It should have been done sooner, but who doesn't want to please Mr. Angrypants?

I did PM proust23 a long time before this topic suggesting a password change is due because of this situation, but obviously it didn't work.

If you feel you are legit enough to represent people you don't know, you should be able to just make your own damn account. "Losing access" is a non-issue here. Don't make it one by foolish actions.

Pasting an old 4shared link doesn't make you a hero.  There are less ad-riddled, timerless sites we make use of daily which are much less of a threat to those who would need the help.  If you actually want to help, don't be a facsimile of a contributing user who found the first MRW meme image you came across and then give us the finger.  There are many avenues to take in a rom collecting community, this shouldn't continue to be one.  You degrade us.

...and i feel a little bit offended... an addition to that phrase with degrade...
Dont like that kind of respect.

let me add my two cents to this brainstorm,

every now and then some person came here asking for something. and i guess its because most of google search you do point at some level to this fórum IMO.
so, lots of questions i do to myself like, if in this case, the person is looking for atari 2600; is he from the 70's or 80's? what he knows about good sets? this is kind of obvious, but maybe is a 6 year old kid looking for something that your old man told him about.

i'm not asking for anyone age, but it would be good if we have a introduce yourself first, with some info that we could handle.

man c'mon are you asking for a 1Tb of files, are you fu... serious? well, maybe the person don't know about it.

i 've been downloading stuff since the ages of emuchina, and i just figure out how to handle with goodsets after my 20's yo. dats... well, a dozen of post here and there, and i was thinking be part of the Fellowship of the Dats - want everything, every access, and so on without understand a lot of stuff that i do know now, and now don't even have purpose anymore.

well, i don't know if i could share my opinion properly, but that is because i suck in english language.

i'm still learning and Discovery stuff, so maybe this will be a long path to the perfect game community.

TIA

Thanks to my deductive and hex editing skills, we now have one fewer rom missing.

Ha! Some hex editing skill...All I had to do was change FF FF to 00 00 at 2 offsets:  00000FF8 & 00001FF8
The deductive part wasn't much challenging either: Compared Sir Lancelot (1983) (Xonox) with Sir Lancelot (1983) (Xonox) [a1] in my hex editor to see which data differed, then assumed those same differences applied between Sir Lancelot (1983) (Xonox) (PAL) [!] and the previously missing Sir Lancelot (1983) (Xonox) (PAL) [a1][!]

And now we're down to the Dirty Dozen still MIA  8)

Conquest of Mars (John W. Champeau)
(attached to post)

This one took a few hours. Compared the data in Conquest of Mars FINAL (John W. Champeau) (PAL60) to
Conquest of Mars FINAL (John W. Champeau) then edited in the bytes that differed between those 2 into Conquest of Mars (John W. Champeau) (PAL60) to produce the missing one.

Btw, I am running these edited roms through GoodTools using the default SHA-1 setting to verify their legitimacy.
So, these are identical to the ones that you would get from dumping the cartridge itself.

And if you're curious about the exact procedure used...

I use this freeware hex editor:
[You are not allowed to view links] Register or Login

It allows you to load two files into it. then by repeatedly pressing F6 it shows you which bytes differ between the 2 files. You just have to note both the original and changed bytes between the 2 files.
For example, after comparing the 2 roms mentioned above, I found these differences:

Original Byte(s) > Changed Byte(s) = Offset

64 > 44 = 00000813
64 > 44 = 00000828
46 > 26 = 00000B95
46 > 36 = 00000F71
58 58 > C8 C8 = 00000F76
DA FE DA > 8A FE 8A= 00000FCC
DA F6 DA > 8A F6 8A = 00000FD0
D6 88 96 2A 76 46 > 76 58 A6 F8 B6 36 = 00000FD8
64 > 44 = 0000121C
84 > 54 = 000013D8
84 > 54 = 000014FA
D6 56 D4 54 > 86 C6 84 C4 = 00001FE3
64 > 44 = 00002049
84 > 54 = 0000208A
84 > 54 = 000020E2
64 > 44 = 00002145
64 > 44 = 0000215D
64 > 44 = 00002217
64 > 44 = 00002242
64 > 44 = 00002284
64 > 44 = 000022AF
64 > 44 = 000022E3
26 > 28 = 00002CF2
D6 56 D4 54 > 86 C6 84 C4 = 00002FE3
64 > 44 = 0000322B
64 > 44 = 000032C5
84 > 36 = 000032D1
D6 > 86 = 00003323
56 > C6 = 00003327
64 > 44 = 00003375
3A > 38 = 000033BF
D0 > 80 = 000033EA
84 > 54 = 00003437
D6 > 86 = 00003440
64 > 44 = 0000344E
46 > 26 = 00003590
64 > 44 = 0000359E
64 > 44 = 000036D1
D6 > 86 = 0000374A
D6 > 86 = 00003766
56 > C6 = 00003787
56 > C6 = 000037A3
2D > FD = 000038A5
48 > 28 = 000038BD
64 > 44 = 00003911
D6 56 D4 54 > 86 C6 84 C4 = 00003FE3

I then edited the rom which logically was similar to the missing one--aside from these bytes, replacing the original bytes with the changed bytes at the listed offsets.
Then scanned the edited rom with Good2600 to verify and rename it.

And so here you are!

Looks like Sir Lancelot (1983) (Xonox) (PAL) [a1][!] has been found. Could someone upload this file, please?
