No worries.  I suppose no one is thinking about he-headering right now.

There may be a little problem with separating the headers from the ROMs that will show up in the future.

If someone keeps the headers separate from the ROMs, and there are a few no-intro .dat updates that rename a few files, it may become confusing when it is time to put the headers back on the ROMs in order to use them with emulators.  It may be a manual process to match the new ROM name with the (few) old separated header names.

Im only thinking about It for emulation purposes..

My understanding Is, most emulators will not play headerless roms...

Headerless for true archiving....headered for playing...

But with this situation, It would be awful If In the future, headers were hard to get/rebuild, making romsets virtually unplayable..

I am just thinking ahead...as like you have just stated, no one seems to be thinking of this atm..

just not to be bad, i just proclaim to not to use search anymore for others than myself. Its easy. If you got almost fullsets, your missings are often posted together in one.
