Hi,

I am preparing a small contribution to your fixes, but i noticed some files are not accepted by your DATs (while i expected they should have been). Some examples :

<rom name="{WoD!} Rainbow On Tape [TRS80CoCoArchive]/Rainbow On Tape (1983) (ROT8301).dsk" size="806400" crc="1557545f" from your Dat, obviously from WoD dat, files from TRS80Archive.

So I downloaded the files from TRS80 Archive ([You are not allowed to view links] Register or Login), that all have 161280 as size, not 806400.

Same (of course) on an old WoD dat : on that example, the dat expects part of the files to have size at 161280:

      <rom name="{WoD!} Rainbow On Tape [TRS80CoCoArchive]\Rainbow On Tape (1983) (ROT8303).dsk" size="161280"
      <rom name="{WoD!} Rainbow On Tape [TRS80CoCoArchive]\Rainbow On Tape (1983) (ROT8304).dsk" size="161280"
      <rom name="{WoD!} Rainbow On Tape [TRS80CoCoArchive]\Rainbow On Tape (1983) (ROT8306).dsk" size="161280"
      <rom name="{WoD!} Rainbow On Tape [TRS80CoCoArchive]\Rainbow On Tape (1983) (ROT8307).dsk" size="161280"
      <rom name="{WoD!} Rainbow On Tape [TRS80CoCoArchive]\Rainbow On Tape (1983) (ROT8311_ocr).dsk" size="161280"

Rest at 806400:

      <rom name="{WoD!} Rainbow On Tape [TRS80CoCoArchive]\Rainbow On Tape (1983) (ROT8301).dsk" size="806400"
      <rom name="{WoD!} Rainbow On Tape [TRS80CoCoArchive]\Rainbow On Tape (1983) (ROT8302).dsk" size="806400"
      <rom name="{WoD!} Rainbow On Tape [TRS80CoCoArchive]\Rainbow On Tape (1983) (ROT8308).dsk" size="806400"
      <rom name="{WoD!} Rainbow On Tape [TRS80CoCoArchive]\Rainbow On Tape (1983) (ROT8309).dsk" size="806400"
      <rom name="{WoD!} Rainbow On Tape [TRS80CoCoArchive]\Rainbow On Tape (1983) (ROT8310).dsk" size="806400"
      <rom name="{WoD!} Rainbow On Tape [TRS80CoCoArchive]\Rainbow On Tape (1983) (ROT8311).dsk" size="806400"
      <rom name="{WoD!} Rainbow On Tape [TRS80CoCoArchive]\Rainbow On Tape (1983) (ROT8312).dsk" size="806400"

Weird .........

Hi,

Here are a few more (though far less than expected due to either unexpected rejections as post above, or damaged files, as CDs seemed not that reliable  after all :-[)

Hi guys, I packed and uploaded all my Romroot folder for AIO.4, maybe you found something missing there.

I haven't used any fixes from this thread, just the files I got in my collections. I'll add now all the fixes here, but I thought of uploading my pack before that, so you can get files not already shared here.

I still got GBs of very old and unrecognized files in my input folders, I think I still have files there from Nesticle times, even before... It's fun to see as AIO recognize files from this folder sometimes.

Anyway, I use AIO for leftover files. So no mame, no-intro, goodtools, tosec or mess files here. I first scan my input folders with those dats, and later with AIO.

Thanks to attractivo for all the great work in the dats.

thanks for the files, actually I needed some for GoodSets and No-intro, as can be seen in the attached prtsc of one of my RomVaults, after scanning and finding fixes. although most are for older dat sets

I haven't even started using AiO dats, Using a romvault for deduped collection (somewhat outdated now). then another romvault on different computer for mostly newer dats using the datroot structure of the latest UDC romroot (only unzipping certain dats from UDC and adding newer dats here and there to it). fixdats from this RV are placed in AAA folder of deduped RV (in order to only scan one RV for fixes I need), then another for just the newest mess sl dats. I'll have to start another RV for just AiO dats, need to add more TB's first though....

Got more or less the same (although i was planning on using UDC, but was unable to get enough dat files, missed all the uploads :-[), so using a mix of sets....

My biggest issue now is that i try to get too many collections (file count is at arround 20 Million roms), so the cache from RV exceeds 2 GB, and then RV crash at startup, only because the GUI loadbar is coded using a 32bits value for cache size  :o. Crazy bug, but RV is Awsome.

At least AiO will help me greatly as i am progressively removing all WoD structure (loved it) that is included in AiO, checking that there is no left-over...

So far AiO proved awsome (well, apart from posing an almost impossible challenge in getting all green !!!)

at some point you need to split it your collection into different RVs. you can use the fixdats from one in another to avoid having to scan the same files for fixes in every romvault. it really makes sense to have a RV for just complete collections also. as this would only ever have to be scanned with fixdats from time to time.
