Downthemall recursive forum attachment alternative?
« on: November 23, 2017 - 10:42:23 »
I've heard that Downthemall isn't being updated... also with this latest version of Firefox, Downthemall doesnt work at all (before it worked but the top bar was mostly missing). I dont really want to revert to an older version of firefox.  :'(

So.... Is there an alternative to what Downthemall does as far as downloading forum attachments recursivley ??  :D

The only real alternative is that i use the laptop with an older version of firefox installed and stop it updating itself.

Any help welcome.. been unable to find anything that does the same... and would rather it be point and click rather than Wget...

Thanks in advance

Or you could run FF portable editions from portableapps.com

They keep archives on sourceforge

Free Download Manager may be useful too. It's a standalone app but integrates

Far easier to use my laptop which has FF 0.54 installed... Downthemall works fine on that version... also FF 0.54 can be stopped from updating i think (some versions ignored the options to stop it updating.. anyway.. i'm happy again :)
