visual pinball missing
« on: December 20, 2017 - 04:18:45 »
can anyone help with my visual pinball missing. The attachment contains 41 fixdats (I know its a lot of em, but most contain only a few needed roms). These are what remain of a deduplicated visual pinball collection I'm trying to complete. I guess most would be considered rollbacks. the folder containing the 41 fixdats can just be shoved into the datroot of a romvault collection for checking. 1 larger single fixdat is not much different than a folder containing a bunch of tiny fixdats.

I assume some would fall into the known missing category

thanks in advance, CW

yeahimdukenukem, Yori, wishus, malaxian, uglyman, unlockerpt, or roydudul  might be the only one's to know if these are known missings, or not...

Have you tried searching here?

Download everything you can find and rebuild, then you should be fine.
Your DATs seem very old. Why don't you use the current DATs from

For me everything is green with those DATs.

Nothing from me, I have only one old set from Yori. Maybe you should ask for it from the gods of Retroroms.

When did pinmame/pinball table begin?

My point is no one has datted tables since they were starting to be created, only table ROM dumps.

Yori or anyone else only started datting at 'their' point in life/datting.

The same goes for Fruit machine.

It's like trying to dat the 'Internet' - good luck ;)

So, just ask the dat creator.

sorry for the merge conflicts, attached is fixed fixdats. I simply put each fixdat into its own sub folder to fix this. These are all based on dats from attractivo's UDC collection. which in turn should come from a dat that may have been useful at one point in history. The earliest ones are based on dats from GodSin, Metroid, GungaFAT, Claudio, etc... starting at the end of 2001. I'm sure some may be error from original dat, incorrect in original dat, non existent, or known/unknown missing...
