What's the recommended way to dump 3DS eShop titles?
« on: April 14, 2018 - 16:45:46 »
Hi all,

I have many eShop titles I'd love to dump. I wasn't able to find a No-Intro quality guide for dumping them. Is there a standard for doing so yet? Or is it safe to assume the app, tik, and tmd files ARE the dump?

Thanks!

There doesn't seem to be a standard for the main dat. But I guess the .3ds files are just the NCCH? CIA should have unique data 00'd out, but I'm not sure that has been kept to.

For the CDN dat its the raw CDN files. To get CDN files from SD card files  you'd need to decrypt the SD key encryption and reencrypt them with the title key. Its easier to just download from CDN (and the CDN has the HTTP Last-Modified date too) but a handful of stuff is removed from the CDN, so would need to be gotten from a console.
