Hi,

Need some help with C64 files on fixdat attached.

Many files missing (70K), but the whole fix is less than 1 Gb (though its only files that are out of usual collections, would be quite challenging...)

Any help welcome   :)

rebuilding takes time... i'm on it.
just not to be bad, i just proclaim to not to use search anymore for others than myself. Its easy. If you got almost fullsets, your missings are often posted together in one.

Many thanks DuncanTwain  :)

As i'm an old Zx/C64/A500/A1200 addict, i will probably certainly make the same kind of request for Amiga & Zx soon  :-[

i just dont get it.
doesnt mean "deduped" it is at least in two sets?
especially for the massive sid's: i have scanned about 1.5 GB compressed sids, maybe 2 million files, with only a few hundreds finds.
i have scanned everything with sid-files: nongood, good, hvsc, i am just curios what sources are holding those "dupes"...

edit
will attach 1 week some found.

Many thanks D34con   :)

I merged different C64 fixdats from different sets, name is just the name from sabretools (as i merged & removed dupes, if any, but that does not mean there were dupes in those sets, it certainly was not the case)

I understand now that the merge was not a good idea, as the different sets would had let some clues to where to look at for the files, i'm sorry for that.

Then, most of the missing files are in good sid collections, and, as i checked now, i have all the "common" version of each tune, but each tune has a few dupes with different crcs.

I attached the whole sets of the C64 files i am hunting actually, for informationn only, not as a fix request (the whole missing list is actually still 85 Gb, and some large files have obvious sources like archive.org). On first post, i only took a few of those files (those i considered no more chance to find new files), and merged them.

Well, thanks a lot again

THX738,  I know the roms looking for in fixDat_Commodore - 64 - [corrupt]│WoD│.dat   cannot be found. the size listed is wrong I believe on all of them.  for example Magic Desk I (rom 317005-01.u2) with size="16384" crc="9f3e210d" sha1="c78af8d162e19d09770d4df1c154c4e95418a7c0", should have size="8192"

a lot of WoD Redux dats had this problem. example attached below

Thanks a lot for the tip !

I will probably merge those dats into a specific one, and remore the size field on those then, if sha1 match, then no reason that the file would be a bad one...
