Make sure your fills are co-ordinated people to avoid duplicating effort. I'll take a look at the fixdat too and see if I can help.

**EDIT** OK, I give up with the fixdat. If your can't upload it somewhere where it can be downloaded without getting redirected to shit referal sites. We shouldn't need to use jDownloader for a fixdat!

Its unfortunate.. most of the uploader sites are using referal sites  and they have no control over them.. Had to kill firefox a lot of times because of fake encrypted harddisc etc. Zippyshare and 1fichier comes to mind.

Jdownloader is the best option here.. its getting harder to do clean downloads.

Missed the dat btw.. but I reckon it will surface in the right sections ;)

guess I'll leave this here:

These are a lot of AIO fixdats, I say why not have people upload sets based on system to the tracker so everyone can benefit, instead of filling hundreds of gb/terabytes(?) for a single user privately? I'm sure there are others who are interested in getting into AIO and could use a starting place.

Kinda hate the aio dats.. not everyone collects everything.. not everyone has the space for it

the aio dats is a one man's work. and it does evolve and change from time to time. it is not as established and stable as other projects.
thats why the torrenting wouldnt make sense. but of course everyone is free to do what they like

"edc" has a point there. aio is not an everymans idea of a collection. but the last version of aio has a lot flexibality added. the dats are now categorized and tagged. for example, if you dont like to collect "mess softwarelist" dats, then you can easily filter by the tag │MSS│ and remove all the dats with that tag. or if you dont like to collect "discarded" stuff, you just need to search for the category {discarded}. etc...

anyway back to topic, i got some kind help offered. and i happy to recieve it now. thanks everyone :)

@zzzz thanks for mirroring my fixdats. i am getting help from someone who has build his files with the aio dats. so i can easily get most of my missings without having them rebuild the files to my fixdats :)

I will try and check them out tomorrow.
I disagree with doing the whole thing privately.
Better in public and coordination/splitting. Else it doesn't make sense.

I would suggest getting popular torrents first though to narrow things down.

i have currently access to a private nas that has everything build to the aio dats structure. which means there is no need for additional help right now. thanks to everyone who offered their help in this thread and per PM. its nice to see how helpful people are when someone had a misfortune.

if i still need help afterwards, i will let you know. thanks again

about the public thing, i dont use torrents myself. but if someone wants to make the aio structured sets "public" then i have nothing against it. besides the arguments i stated above. the sets are too "unstable" and can change with each dat release. although the last version of aio is pretty improved imo.

Ah shit, missed this update. had just started scanning for fixes. - ah well.

looks like most of it should be publicly available anyway (NO-Intro, TOSEC main branch, MESS software list, Goodsets etc)
Maybe i should look into these aio dats, are they merged and de-duped?
