Using a PS4...
« on: August 13, 2018 - 00:25:37 »
Hello.
My question is:
if i buy a ps4, will games be installed on a hdd? if yes, will they installed every time? if yes, so i assume bigger hdd must be an advantage?
I did not find any information about that.
Will games be installed, and will they "every" time be installed...?!?
just not to be bad, i just proclaim to not to use search anymore for others than myself. Its easy. If you got almost fullsets, your missings are often posted together in one.

Yes, Disc games do a mandatory one time installation to play them unless you delete the installed data. For the hdd, you can upgrade if you want or you can use an external hdd. One problem with the external route is that you need to format it and only the ps4 will read it. Hope this helps.

unfortunately, you still need the game disc inserted for whatever game you want to play and yes every game does the mandatory install whether its 3gb or 50gb
